So what will we do?

Harlow Renaissance will work to deliver short and medium term renewal as well as long term growth for Harlow through work in six areas: -

• Housing; looking at short term renewal of existing housing stock as well as planning for longer term growth and the creation of sustainable, cohesive communities.
  
• Transport; Harlow Renaissance will be a member of the Harlow-Stansted Gateway Transport Board and will work within that group to develop proposals to tackle congestion and improve transport within Harlow.
  
• Town Centre development; taking forward the Town Centre Strategy to create a strong vision and then facilitating immediate improvements as well as longer term development.
  
• Education; ensuring that Harlow has the quality of education to support growth and an increasingly mixed community.
  
• Enterprise and employment; growing the range of small and medium business to enable a wider range of employment opportunities.
  
• Branding and promotion; to underpin all of the above, the creation of a branding campaign to promote Harlow as a great place to live, work, do business and visit.
