Harlow Renaissance sought to bring best practice to Harlow to ensure that the town benefited from the widest range of expertise. We used the skills and experience of our Board members and brought external speakers to our Board meetings where appropriate. We also undertook an active programme of visits to other cities to learn what we can from them in relation to the regeneration and growth of new towns.
To date, we have conducted visits to Holland, Crawley and Ashford as well as receiving a presentation on the development of Bracknell. We also facilitated a visit for Harlow Council to Aylesbury to look at their new theatre development as research into the potential for the development of a new theatre for Harlow.
