Old Harlow

Latest update

30 March 2010:  On 29 March 2010 Harlow Council Planning Committee approved a detailed planning application for the Old Harlow Regeneration project. The scheme will deliver 43 homes (12 affordable) on the Faircroft and Little Bays sites. This decision marks the success of a long process of consultation and engagement with the local residents delivered by Harlow Renaissance from 2007 and continued by Moat Homes in 2009.

The construction of these new homes is scheduled to start in the summer 2010 and finish in 2011. The scheme will be built by MODE@Harlow, a partnership of Moat Homes, PRP Architects and Denne Construction Ltd.

The partnership is working with Harlow Council and Harlow Renaissance on the regeneration of several brownfield sites across Harlow in Clifton Hatch, Prentice Place and Old Harlow.

May 2009:
Moat Homes have been appointed by Harlow Council and Harlow Renaissance to develop and build a new housing scheme. Consultation on these proposals will take place between July and September 2009. The first consultation meeting took place at St John's ARC at 7.30pm on 21st July 2009.
