During the summer of 2010 the town centre was enhanced by the arrival of hanging baskets and pole baskets of flowers.
The baskets were sponsored by the Harvey Centre, MacDonalds and Primark and were watered throughout the summer to maintain the colour of the plants such as geraniums and petunias until late September.
Hanging baskets used to be a feature of the town centre so we hope that the sponsorship of the baskets will continue for years to come.
