Harlow Renaissance Ltd. was established at the end of 2006 to drive forward the regeneration and growth process in Harlow.
The company was formed by Harlow Council, Essex County Council, the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) and English Partnerships (which became the Homes and Communities Agency – HCA). Significant core funding came from the Department for Communities and Local Government to bring together national, regional and local government in a concerted effort to facilitate change in Harlow.
The company became fully operational in April 2007 and this website documents some of our achievements during four years of activity. It is intended to act as an archive resource of our work between 2007 and 2011 and to provide public access to many of the documents and reports that we produced. In some cases we have provided future contact details where project work continues through our partners.
For general enquiries after the closure of the company on 25th March 2011 please contact Harlow Council at renaissance@harlow.gov.uk or 01279 446655.
A record of the work of Harlow Renaissance can also be seen in our final report which can be accessed here.
